The place of my soul in Lisbon..today after 7 years i come back to Portugal...and the first place in my mind was Rosa da Rua. The atmosphere is homey, with Ricardo, who's been there his whole life, making you feel truly at home. The food is sublime. Fresh. The selection is perfect and just right. Fresh and hot dishes. Fish and beef from main Portuguese recipes cooked by the chef with real love. To say it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant is an understatement. The formula is definitely the right one. But the quality makes the difference.
And to think you don't even notice...they don't have a real sign. But once you enter you understand you are in the right place. Thanks again...and thanks again to Ricardo for the special welcome.

The buffet options are great! Very delicious and flavorful. The deserts were amazing. We had the orange pudding and chocolate cake with lemon gelato. Came back multiple times during our one long stay.

Food was not traditional. Bolognese? Spinach lasagna? Curry chicken?
Also that’s all you’re getting. 4 hot dishes.
The salads all had a weird after taste, all in the same vein as well. 2 cheeses, one being a plain plain white cheese, few pieces of sliced bread. For the price, we recommend going anywhere else where you’d pick something you might actually like.
We were super excited but nothing was very good, and again, nothing you can’t find at any random place. Furniture isn’t cozy also, outdoor chairs from ikea.

Incredible Buffet & Cozy Atmosphere
One of the best buffets I’ve ever had. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care— incredible selection of homemade dishes, some of the best food we had in Lisbon! The cozy, rustic setting made the experience even better. A hidden gem I’ll definitely return to and try dinner buffet as well!
The waiter was very pleasant and helpful

Such an incredible dinner. I loved all the dishes but especially the cheese and spinach lasagna, and the salad variety. The lemonade was super fresh and tangy, and the molten lava choc cake was SOOOO yummy!
I also really liked the atmosphere- comfortable and homely. Staff were so friendly, accomodating and informative. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

This was a really Portuguese local place. The restaurant was full of locals. They offer buffet for 24-25 euros. You can eat as much as you want. There were a huge variety of options. The waiter also told us that normally there are vegan chicken beef options but particular to the day we went they only had pork. For me the food was good and it is good if you want to try Portuguese food.
For me the taste of almost every meal was pretty particular, nothing like I have tried in my life before. The meat came a little heavy for me but all the vegetables was good. But I am really glad I got to experience real Portuguese food.

I really enjoyed the food at this buffet in Lisbon. Each dish is delicious and prepared in a way that lets you truly taste its unique flavors. My favorites were the fish and pork from the main dishes—they were outstanding! I also ordered a glass of white wine, “Vinho Verde,” which paired beautifully with the meal.
The atmosphere here feels warm and welcoming, making it a sweet place to spend the evening. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful night, and I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in Lisbon.

A lovely little restaurant.
Though not a massive array of options, what is there is actually very delicious! This was just was I needed after spending the day walking to Pena palace in heavy rain!
Special mention to the Spinach Lasagne, which, to my surprise, was the most delicious food I had during my stay in Lisboa! Wow, beautiful.
Our Waiter, Bernardo was fantastic. He really made us comfortable and showcased top quality customer service. Obrigado Bernardo!
Oh and that fresh mint tea is also one of the best teas I have had. Wonderful.

As learnt from other reviews, it’s Eur 14.6 for lunch and 19.6 for dinner. We went last Saturday for lunch and it’s Eur 23.4. Not sure why the price suddenly jumped up so much. It’s still okay if the food quality and choices could justify … More
